Because of the nature of remodeling or home improvement projects, it is difficult to estimate at the beginning how much time and materials it will specifically take to accomplish a given project. You should treat estimates as an "educated guess" and not as an assurance that Home Improvement Services, Company (HIS CO) will be able to do the work for the estimated price. Due to unforeseen damage, changes, and/or events the price may be subject to change. Where estimates are going to be exceeded, as the contractor I will try to advise you in advance so that you can decide whether to modify the project scope or proceed to completion with a different cost estimate.

Although I believe our estimates to be accurate and fair they are based on what is visible to the eye. As the project unfolds unforeseen items or concerns may arise. These items or concerns will be addressed through "work change orders" approved by you.
